A Grotesque Night in Daytona Beach

After completing a long weekend of catching up in school me my roommate and a buddy from down the hall decided to have some fun on this Sunday night. After our 15 minute drive we decide to park on a road that was right next to the beach. We were greeted by a bar of people drinking eating the football game and having a good time. I stood there think this is the Daytona Beach I've heard so much about it looks like there's always a party. As my friends I turned the corner from the bar we looked down the street and it was barren, with about 10 people max roaming the streets. So we decided to walk a little further down joking and about all the extremely boring parties we been to so far that had nothing but beer pong and a million guys with 2 or 3 girls. We all agreed that the night we were going to have would make up for all these lame parties. Boy, were we wrong! As we reached the beach it was just as barren as the streets we stood in disappointment and decided that the "party people" were on the peer a little further down the block. Guess what? We were right. As we got to the peer we saw old couples holding hands, kissing and all that fun stuff. A peer filled with old people in skimpy bathing suits reliving their pasts as they say. Walking further down the peer we see a shop/restaurant so decided to check it out. Inside we were greeted with the amazing aroma which smelt like dead bodies and fish all in the same room. This grotesque smell made all the hairs on your body rise were rushed out of this place as fast as we would. Then in an effort to spare our night we decided to go to the Daytona Lagoon to race Go-Karts. After a night filled with Go-Kart racing we decided that it was time to go home. To make our amazing night even better we were asked by some random guy on the street for money. This guy has dirt shirt shoes and just seemed dirty all over he says "I'm not going to lie to you guys but I need some money to buy myself a beer." Well of course we didn't stop but this guy wouldn't stop he shouted down the street begging for money. The only thing that drew his attention away from us was a group of people passing us in the other direction who he tries to pan handle money from. We got back to the car and took the drive back to campus summing up our amazing night in Daytona Beach.
